Bill grew up in Alaska on the Kenai Peninsula. As a kid, he planned to grow up to be a fish and game warden.
In high school, he went in a different direction when he got interested in Psychology. Later — as a research assistant for a Professor of Biology in Chicago — he discovered he was enthusiastic about computer science. That job led him back to school for a computer science degree and eventually to the Full Beaker engineering team.
These days, Bill lives with his wife and two daughters and six chickens. On a weekend, you might find him practicing jiu-jitsu or scuba diving with his eldest daughter.
