Senior Strategic Data Analyst

Full Beaker is looking for a senior strategic data analyst to work with our analytics team. We're in the business of helping users with complex decisions, and we're looking for someone who can dive into the data to help us grow and scale our business. This is not a back-office reporting role - it's a strategic position that requires curiosity, initiative, and an ability to turn ambiguous questions into actionable insights.

Our websites provide tools and resources to guide consumers in critical decisions, from obtaining mortgages to finding jobs to selecting education opportunities. As a senior strategic data analyst, you will work with our business and product teams to identify growth opportunities, improve our reporting infrastructure, and ensure our data integrity. What you'll do on a day-to-day basis:

  • Analytics Ownership: Lead deep-dive analyses on traffic, conversion funnels, partner performance, pricing models, and revenue growth.

  • Strategic Decision Support: Collaborate with business leaders to shape roadmaps, test hypotheses, and make data-backed recommendations.

  • Reporting & Dashboarding: Build automated reporting and intuitive dashboards that surface insights and track KPIs.

  • Data Advocacy: Partner with engineering to improve data quality, structure, and governance. Promote a culture of data fluency across teams.

To succeed in this job, you’ll need:

  • 4-7+ years in a data-focused role, ideally in a digital business (e.g., consumer web, lead gen, or performance marketing)

  • Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort with data cleaning, modeling, and segmentation

  • Mid-senior level SQL; comfortable querying large datasets from scratch

  • Experience working with web analytics (e.g., GA4, Mixpanel)

  • Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Mode, Redash)

  • Ability to translate complex analyses into plain language and actionable recommendations

  • Strong business judgment and curiosity - you don’t just answer questions, you question the questions
