We have built an engaged and dedicated community of thousands of medical professionals that consume our industry leading content and experience. Our Education vertical provides tools and resources to users to help them find and select the right education opportunity that furthers their career. Your job will be to define and drive the implementation of new education products, as well as optimize and scale a suite of existing monetization products. We have a goal of giving users all the information they need to make informed career decisions, and we want you to be a part of it!

As an Associate Product Manager at Full Beaker, you’re an owner. You will be working closely with the Director of Strategy and Head of Product to create the vision and strategy of our Education vertical. You’re responsible for the product roadmap, optimization of our monetization funnels, and delivery of onsite experiences that delight our users. This role requires you to combine your passion for helping internal and external stakeholders with your technical expertise to ensure we’re building solid and scalable platforms to grow our business. • Own the testing plan for our Education vertical including identification of timeline, key KPIs, and reporting.
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions between investment, schedule and user benefit. Use data to drive the development and prioritization of new products and product improvements.
  • Actively build relationships with leadership, internal stakeholders, and engineers to deliver on your product roadmap
  • Work to continually improve the user experience throughout the entire user journey.
  • Operate autonomously; drive programs end to end including business goals, technical solution, launch planning and execution.

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in product management.
  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies and experience utilizing testing software.
  • Experience building operations platforms to enable teams to move quickly
  • Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts and manage tradeoffs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive action.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves, learn, and get the job done.

About Full Beaker:

Full Beaker is a small but mighty company that focuses on helping consumers make informed decisions. Today, our main focus is helping people obtain or refinance mortgages, and helping nurses find jobs. We maintain a highly-collaborative environment where everyone is encouraged to take initiative and own the solutions to the problems they identify. We believe in hiring smart people and supporting them while they do great things (in other words, we don't micromanage).

We provide full-time employees with full benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage with available coverage for close family members. We also provide a matching 401(k) program, performance bonuses, 3 weeks of paid vacation, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, and a sick PTO policy that boils down to "don't come in until you feel better”.

Building on the continued strength of our core businesses, we are now expanding into new products. The foundations are already in place, but now the real work begins to build out profitable and sustainable businesses that continue our core mission. Your role will be central to achieving that goal.

Best Things About The Job:

  • You'll work in a safe and open environment with talented people who have a broad range of experience.

  • You'll be supported, but never micromanaged.
  • You'll be encouraged to learn: we provide a $1500 budget per year that covers books, courses, and conferences.

Here’s what you can expect from our interview process:

You'll spend some time talking with our Director of Strategy, Head of Product, our CEO, and our founder. During those conversations, we'll be looking to assess whether you're a good cultural fit and that make sure our values are aligned. We encourage you to come prepared with as many questions as possible to determine whether we're a good fit for you!

We will assess your ability to act independently and lead the development of new products. This includes cross team communication and collaboration, planning and organization, and the ability to move seamlessly from strategy down to the details
