Content Marketing Guru

Join our awesome team!

Do you know how to write with a goal in mind? Can you empower website visitors with knowledge while encouraging them to act? For you, it’s not enough to create content for content’s sake. You’re writing with a purpose.

Full Beaker is looking for a brilliant Content Marketing Guru. In this role, you will create and edit purpose-driven content for three nationally known websites which reach over 7 million visitors per year.

If you know SEO, have driven business goals with your content, and have created or grown an online audience, this could be the role you’re looking for.

Is this you?

You have written and edited content with the specific purpose of advancing business goals, and have done it for at least 4-5 years.

  • A proven track record of driving revenue with your content
  • Real-world, applied SEO knowledge. You should know how to get your piece of content on page 1 of Google for just about any subject
  • You are part-time psychologist. You know how to address the reader’s concerns, remove barriers, and move them toward a desired action
  • You know how to make freelancers mini-versions of yourself. They will suddenly start writing for a purpose like you do
  • In your previous roles, you didn’t have a built-in audience. You had to attract that audience with magnificent content
  • Your last company didn’t just “have a blog.” Rather, the blog or content platform contributed greatly to the company’s bottom line

What’s the job?

  • Create a purpose-driven content strategy for each website
  • Oversee creation of stories that readers can’t help but share
  • Work with freelancers to scale your ability to produce content
  • Edit stories for voice and accuracy
  • Live in Google Analytics and other tools to see how your content is performing, both in traffic and revenue
  • Increase conversion of our content
  • Collaborate with paid marketing, business development, the email team, and others to fill content needs
  • Get to know our audiences to solve pain points and answer questions

Your experience should include the following

  • You have personally written content that went to page 1 of Google
  • Your content gets social shares (your mom doesn’t count)
  • You’ve managed freelance writers
  • You can make a seemingly boring subject come alive with unique angles and stories
  • You’ve worked in WordPress and know some HTML
  • You’ve managed projects across the finish line

What websites will I manage?

Full Beaker, Inc. owns content-producing web properties in the mortgage and nurse staffing spaces. These websites inform millions of users per year. As such, you will learn about the needs of mortgage consumers as well as permanent and travel nurses, and craft highly valuable content accordingly.
